Soft Tacos with Flank Steak

Grilled Flank Steak....I just love this cut of meat! It is so versatile to use for a variety of dishes.
The meat is extra soft and tender. We like to use it in soft tacos ,fajitas, sandwiches...etc.

The trick is to cut it against the natural grain of the meat and slice it thinly at a bias. It is great if you can marinate it overnight , but will work just as fine if marinated/seasoned the same day.

You will need:

1.5 lb piece of flank steak
garlic, crushed
salt
pepper
chipotle powder
paprika
chopped cilantro
some oil to rub the meat with or you can leave it dry rubbed

To assemble: we used what we had around the house, but feel free to use whatever additions you like...

Flour/corn tortillas
avocado
salsa
cheese

Directions:
1. Season flank steak.

2. Grill on med /high for 4-7 minutes on each side depending on how well you like your steak.

3. Let meat rest covered for 5 minutes. Slice against grain on the bias.

Serve with condiments.
