Yes, the cinnamon filling is for 1 set of rolls. You can also just double the filling and make 2 sets of you like. They do freeze extremely well... just add the icing later if you choose to go that route, for a prettier look.

I sure hope you enjoy them:). And yes, macadamia nuts are rather expensive... you can, however, use any nut you like. I must admit I am partial to the classic cinnamon version(which I sometimes add nuts to:), depending how I feel).

Have fun baking!... and thanks for stopping by.Elliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18029231204593874635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-29883961495202372502017-09-06T07:19:09.797-07:002017-09-06T07:19:09.797-07:00Hello Ellie!

As I am planning to make only 1 set with the cinnamon-nut filling. Macadamias are a tad expensive where I live (but then again they are expensive everywhere!), so I'll stick with the original filling.

Thank you for sharing all those recipes with us!
- AnthonyAnthonynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-24130616467521701662014-07-13T11:51:08.769-07:002014-07-13T11:51:08.769-07:00Bucci, Wonderful! While I tend to use both weight and cup measurements, I've only posted the cup measurements, mainly for it's ease of use(to the US readers)... though I totally agree that weight is most accurate:).

In any case, I went off the original tangzhong method I found on Christine's blog... she includes the weight as well as cups. You can find the link here...

http://en.christinesrecipes.com/2010/03/japanese-style-bacon-and-cheese-bread.html

But mainly the amount of of bread flour I used in the recipe (the 2 1/2 cups) was close to 350 grams.

Hope that helps:).

And Happy New Year to you as well! I'm a big believer in baking by weight, so I was wondering if you could tell me how much bread flour to use in this recipe by weight? I've tried to search online, but the per cup weight of bread flour varies widely among different sources. Thanks and Happy New Year!Six Bittersweetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04982601842113785558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-27334325987743878352013-10-27T18:20:16.018-07:002013-10-27T18:20:16.018-07:00Kendi, You are very welcome!
