I've never tried it before, but it sounds delicious! I looked the dish up, since I hadn't come across it before, and it sounds a bit similar to the Malaysian-style laska( which I've tried). So I'm sure the soto will be delicious:)...
Thanks for stopping by and sharing:).Elliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18029231204593874635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-12101925598830147022013-03-07T02:50:30.082-08:002013-03-07T02:50:30.082-08:00hi. i love your recipe and its brilliant idea to u...hi. i love your recipe and its brilliant idea to use pressure cooker instead of pot. btw, we Indonesian use the chicken stock and shredded chicken to make Soto. It's fragrant and fresh. Hope you can try it :)anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08328421453960936854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-47006376726266895642013-02-05T06:57:35.255-08:002013-02-05T06:57:35.255-08:00Anna, Ever since I got my pressure I LOVED it! Wel...Anna, Ever since I got my pressure I LOVED it! Well, let me backtrack a bit... I ended up buying it on sale one day and then I kept it for a whole year befpre I used it... I suppose I was scared initially:). But then I ended up doing a product review on it( you can see it under my product reviews), and put aside all my fears . Ended up cooking a ton of food with it... and nothing exploded:). Since then, I've become so attached to it:)... I think it's worth having a PC just for making risotto alone!
But I also love it for cooking beans,"mamaliga", traditional Romanian soups, sarmale, varza cu carnati(cabbage and sausage), stews, and the list goes on. I've just recently come across the idea of making mac and cheese in it:). Made the pasta already... perfect 'al dente' texture! Can you tell I love my PC:)?
Oh, and using the mixer to shred chicken is fantastic!... even if you cook your chicken in a regular pot, or slow cooker.

Sorry for the long answer... the PC may not be for everyone, but it works for me.

Thanks for stopping by... and have a blessed day walking with the KING! It's such a neat trick... saves your hands and actually shreds the chicken much finer.
It's great for making those shredded burritos... or flautas( which I ended up making with all the extra shredded meat:). Glad I posted it:)...Elliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18029231204593874635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-69479743747888741432013-02-05T00:31:11.234-08:002013-02-05T00:31:11.234-08:00Ellie, I haven't used a pressure cooker before...Ellie, I haven't used a pressure cooker before but getting it is the next thing on my list, especially if it's so fast and easy to use. Also, great idea to use the mixer for shredding the chicken.Cuparoonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02760598919078716981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8590241869561905455.post-6291715785972797652013-02-04T22:51:45.654-08:002013-02-04T22:51:45.654-08:00wow using a kitchen aid?!
